It's true, this little girl is ONE!
We had a little party at our friend Moriah's house, and had so much fun. Here are a boat load of pictures, whether you want to see them or not.

She fell off this chair immediately after the picture and had a nasty purple bruise just under her hairline that you can see in the rest of the pics.
Shad and Douglas convinced lots of kids that throwing dirt in the fire pit was cool.
He CRACKED up when we handed Dorothy the cake, like, "You're giving a cake to a baby?? You're crazy."

We went straight through nap time for the party, and she didn't make it through the end of her bottle when we got home.
Happy Birthday, sweet little Dorothy Jane! I'll be taking one year portraits when she can gives me a bruise-free window. The one on her forehead is gone as of this morning, and literally 10 minutes after I noticed she bumped into the kitchen table and got a new one. That's what she gets for walking 50% of the time!

Haha...Douglas's reaction to giving Dot her own cake cracks me up! It makes me so excited to see what Josh will do at Jude's birthday in a few months!
And by the way, we would LOVE for you to come visit Midland, if that idea is serious. The kids would have so much fun! Maybe when Houston gets disgustingly hot and Midland is actually nice in the summer. If not, we'll be in Redding for a week after Christmas, so maybe we'll see you there.
I love how Douglas ate his cupcake in pretty much one bite. Reminds me of his dad at that age :) Happy birthday Dottie - so much fun to see all these pictures
